The Festival Mondial des Cinémas Sauvages is back in Brussels after seven years away

From Thursday to Sunday, we’re taking over the ZK for the first time, with screenings, performances, workshops, concerts and talks around attempts at making cinema. So sometimes several things will be happening at once, but in the end we like the idea of the festival as a place you wander through, stumbling on things that let stories cross paths

As in past editions, the copyright-free films will be available on computers, and for the rest, we’ll try to archive some of it all!

The festival still runs on its own economy. Entry is pay-what-you-can, and so are the canteens. There are a few costs and expenses to cover, so if you can chip in a few euros, it helps keep the machine running

September, Brussels wakes up, so we hope to see you at the ZK. Even if we sometimes feel like we’re organising things for 40 brains, it’s with our guts, and the guts of everyone involved in this programme, that we’re looking forward to it
